Went to TWO, count them 2, Texas Ranger games this weekend. On Saturday Night, I organized a Father-Son Baseball game for the men at our church. We ended up taking 47 guys. Our church is mostly made up of single mom families, so we took a bunch of the boys without dads to the game. It really was a great moment to see the looks on their faces when they saw the Ballpark in Arlington, or any ballpark for that matter, for the very first time. I go to about 5 games a year, and I still think the Ballpark in Arlington(Ameriquest Field) is a beatiful sight to behold!
Then on Sunday night, I had four free tickets to the game. So… I took my entire family to the game. You’ve never experienced true parenting until you’ve tried to take in a Texas Ranger game with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 1 year old! :)
Luckily the Rangers won both times, and seem to be back in the AL West pennant race. Only a few more weeks until the Rangers fold altogether!
