..I noticed my oldest son playing in a little mud hole he had created with the water sprinkler. He wasn’t getting too near it, and was content to just stir it with a little stick. I had to fix this…

I offered to cover him in mud. He happily accepted!

Then after some encouragement he got into the act.

The leafs are a nice addition to the Mud Costume, don’t you think?

I remember doing this once with a friend of mine when we were about 10. Sadly, we chose some yellowish mud, and even after we totally washed it off, we still had a yellow tinge to us for about two days.

I hope you have owned your yard long enough to know where your mud comes from.

I wish I looked this buff with my shirt off. These are great pics. Can you tell me why when we turn adults that we quit having this mindset?
