Learned in Kindergarten

Today was the big day. Moms, Dads, grandparents, and picture taking family members accompanied their kindergarten kids into their first day of school. My oldest son Ryan was a part of the experience, and I’m not sure I know how to feel. I’m excited that Ryan gets to be somewhere so fantastic and where he can learn new things everyday; but I’m a little freaked out that my baby is in school!

My one searing memory of being in kindergarten is being a little scared that everyone had to bring their own box of tissue to school. Like what kind of place was this that everyone cried so much you had to bring your own box of tissue?!?

For my amusement and yours, I include Robert Fulgham’s great piece, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.
