Freeze Out

I drive Ryan to school every morning, and we usually spend the 10 minute drive talking about one thing or another. Today we were talking about how cold it was in the car. It takes about the first 5 minutes of our drive to school for the heat to start finally blowing warm air. To take our minds off the chilling weather, I told him that it could be worse. We could be naked, or have ice in our pants, or be eating ice cream. As we took turns saying what could be colder I was reminded of a game we used to play back in High School. Anybody remember the super childish game ‘Freeze-Out’? We would roll down all the windows on an extremely cold day, and the first person to demand the windows back up would be the loser. I’m sure we punched them in the arm, or something else real mature, if they were the loser.
And YES I did roll down the windows and Freeze Out out my 5 year old, but only for a minute. And he laughed hysterically the entire time. And there is a good chance he thinks it was the funniest thing I’ve ever done.
