I got home from Atlanta on Thursday afternoon. It was a nice trip, and I’ll post later this week about some of the things I’ve taken away from my time at the Orange Conference.

I spent some time catching up with the boys when I got back and as we were running some errands the following conversation ensued:

Ryan proclaimed completely out of the blue, “Dad I really missed you when you were in that other city. I’m glad your back.”

So I asked him why he was glad I was back.

He responded by saying, “Because you’re so much fun. You wrestle with us, tell jokes, and let us drive around with you in your car.”

And then Dylan chimed in with this gem:

“Mommy is soooo boring, and you are so cool Daddy!”

Which makes me wonder how much longer my sons will think of me as COOL.
