This morning Starr and I are taking Ryan to school, taking the other two to a friends house and then heading westward out of Lubbock. We’re headed to the rugged Sierra Blanca mountain range of southcentral New Mexico. More specifically we’re going to Ruidoso, New Mexico for a church leadership retreat.

There will be pastors, elders, deacons, and other ministry leaders all gathering together for some great times. Last year was our first year out there, and we’re looking forward to getting back. I need to see a mountain!

Thanks to all the friends watching our kids and transferring them between school and other friends houses, and ultimately to grandparents. Without some great friends we wouldn’t be going anywhere!
