I’ve Been Published

I’ve had a long-hidden goal of writing something that may one day be read by others. One could even rightly assume that is why I started this blog some 5 years ago. Well, I officially got something published of the paper variety.
My article is in Group Publishing’s Children’s Ministry Magazine. Do you see it? I wrote that second bi-line on the cover there. See it now? “Entice Your Parents to STICK AROUND.” I was approached a few months ago to elaborate on something I had written about here at www.jonathancliff.com. They gave me a title, a topic, and I ran with it from there. The article is a great synopsis into the changes we made at Trinity Church last summer to help parents get more involved with their kids.

I have been recently been exposed to your blog and your children’s ministry website at Trinity. I am deeply inspired and encouraged by the things you have done and are doing in the little i have read. I am a young CM Pastor from Ohio and am experiementing with a lot of things. When i read your blogs about Thinking Orange it really made me thinking of doing new things, and with our VBS especially! Then i was reading through the magazine and saw an article very similar to what you had talked about and there you were in the magazine. I truly feel that God is drawing me to do something greater, than just the “drop off ministry”, ya know? This is definitely a highlight to read about as it is such an innovative way of approaching ministry with the whole family. Sweet idea bro….
