Saying Goodbye

TrinityChurch_Small

If you were at Trinity Church this weekend, you probably heard the news of our family’s departure from Lubbock and the great church that we’ve served at over the past 5 years.

Here are some important things that everyone should know:

Trinity Church is a wonderful church serving in a great community. They’ve been here going on 50 years, and the future is bright. There are lost people finding Christ every weekend, and the investment that Trinity has made (and continues to make) is a big one.

Trinity Church loves children, students, and the families that love them. Don’t believe me? Take a minute to check out what’s happening right now on the campus of Trinity. www.beyondtrinity.com Trinity has committed $7 Million dollars towards the Next Generations growing up in Lubbock, TX.

The leadership of Trinity is strong. How strong? Strong enough that I went to them in May and shared the burden God had laid on our hearts to transition, and they supported me and paid me to remain with them until that position opened up. This is a great testimony of secure leadership.

Every bit of success I’ve had on nearly every church level, is 100% related to the opportunities Trinity Church has given me and our family. They’ve loved me, supported me, and given me freedom to grow in ways I had only dreamed about 5 years ago.

I wish there was a way to write words more rich than this about our family’s experience at Trinity Church in Lubbock, TX.  I’ve had a ton of opportunity to grow here, but the richest investment made from this church is in the level of passion they’ve demonstrated to my children. My kids have had wonderful teachers, small group leaders, and mentors the entire time we’ve been here…and that right there is what we are taking with us. The investment made in our family will stay forever, and will reap a great reward for our future.

Thank you Trinity and thank you Lubbock, Texas.
